The Home-Based services offered by RHC are managed and directed as an extension of CITE, (Community Integrated, Training and Education) Services.CITE is an important program of RHC that began serving children with disabilities in 1986. CITE, concentrates on issues related to home, school and community intervention services.
The focus of the programs offered by CITE provide customized supports that enable children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities to experience success in meeting their goals. In order to help individuals meet their goals, the CITE program customizes services to fit the needs of each person.
Professional Staff
CITE Services are provided by professional staff who include Licensed Teachers, Licensed Social Workers, and staff with backgrounds in psychology, early childhood development, elementary, secondary and special education, as well as other human services fields.· All team members have specialized and advanced training in working with children and youth with developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities.
Home-Based Services Include:
- developing toileting skills

learning new behavioral skills and decreasing behaviors which limit success within their family, community, and relationships

establishing or modifying child and/or family routines or schedules

improving self-care and personal management skills

strengthening/fostering communication and social skills

assessing a child's specific learning strengths and needs within the home environment

creating strength-based behavior support and skill development plans that work within the context of each child's family life
