YES (Youth Excelling Socially) Program
A New Life Skills Program
For Teens

CITE Community-Based Services is offering a learning opportunity for teens (ages 13-17) to participate in a new social skills program.  Developing improved social skills will result in a more satisfying educational experience and a desired community life.  Without basic social skills, students struggle to maintain friendships. 
These students will learn ways to understand and interact socially with others. The classes focus on:

• How to cope with  emotions and feelings
• How to read social cues
• How to belong to a group of peers
• How to initiate interactions with others appropriately

When:Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm                                         Where:Northwest High School,

Class Fee:  $200.00
Confirmation of the 8 week class will be determined after a minimum of 8 teens have enrolled.
