Psychological Consultation Services

Psychological Consultation to CITE Services: 

Consultation is available to the educational intervention teams within CITE (Community Integrated Training and Education) Home and Community-Based Services to assist in creating effective intervention plans for referred individuals with emotional or mental health concerns.  Through clinical observation, assessment, and record review, the consultant offers collaborative support to best meet the psychological needs of individuals served.  Consultative liaison and collaboration with community providers and agencies is also provided through telephone contacts and meetings as appropriate to enhance service delivery to specific individuals or to access available resources.

 Psychological Consultation to Community: 

Consultation services are available to other professionals and programs who are working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and mental health concerns.  Program evaluation and program development support are available to assist existing community programs to make necessary modifications to more effectively serve children with dual diagnoses.  Direct case consultation, staff education, and clinical supervision are also available to community providers who request assistance in creating more successful therapeutic interventions for the individuals with dual diagnoses in their care.
