RHC Planned Respite Services

“My Planned Retreat” is a unique feature to the concept of utilizing host families for planned, short-term individual visits.  Often the continuous care of an individual with disabilities can be both time-consuming and labor intensive, and families need time to attend to other matters or just recharge. This program takes referrals from those individuals and families who need such a service, and coordinates brief visits to host family homes on a planned schedule. 

The length of the visits may range from a day, weekend, a week, or even longer if the situation calls for it.  Arrangements may also be made to have such visits be recurring, where the individual and family can look forward to this service on a regularly scheduled basis.
