Dear RHC Friends, Family and Community,

Jim and Daniel lived in a state-run institution all of their lives until they were offered the opportunity to leave earlier this year. They desperately wanted to move but needed a new place to live. RHC was there for Jim and Daniel and helped them move into a home in which RHC provides services. Now Jim and Daniel are enjoying their new home and are happy to be part of the RHC family.

In times of great uncertainty we turn to friends and family for comfort. At RHC we strive to strengthen families and often become a family or a second family to people with developmental disabilities.  RHC is grateful to be an organization where people with disabilities and their families can turn to for support and assistance.

Now we need your help. Lizzie and Sandra moved out of a nursing home into a wonderful apartment. They are enjoying their independence but they do not have enough money to purchase curtains, bedding and other quality of life items to make their apartment a home.

Sam uses a wheelchair to get around and loves visiting the library. Because RHC staff share a wheelchair accessible van between several homes, Sam is not able to visit the library as often as he would like.  RHC needs to purchase more wheelchair accessible vans so Sam and others can do more of the things they like to do.

Won’t you consider making a donation of $35 or more to help RHC continue supporting our family of people with developmental disabilities?  Click the button below to make your donation on our secure website. You will make a great difference in the lives of the people we serve.

We sincerely thank you for your support!

With gratitude,

Patrick R. Maynard, Ph.D.

President & CEO

P.S. Please give by December 31st to ensure Lizzie and Sandra have a happy new year!
