Peter Keiser

Peter Keiser, Board Chairman

Mr. Keiser is the advocacy coordinator with the Division of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center. He has served on the local and national Boards of United Cerebral Palsy and was a founding board member of the Inclusion Network of Cincinnati. He currently serves in the Ohio Governor appointed position of President of the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council. Mr. Keiser has served on RHC’s Board of Trustees since February 2005 and was our chairman from 2008 through 2009. He and his wife reside in Anderson Township.

Ed Comer, First Vice-Chair

Ed’s professional career has spanned the past thirty five years in administrative positions in the DD system, the MH system, and higher education positions both at Wright State University School of Medicine and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His administrative positions have always included advocacy for people with dual diagnosis. Ed and his wife are the parents of a 43 year old adult who has an intellectual disability. His last position included program administration of the Ohio Center of Excellence in Dual Diagnosis. He is the initial recipient of the Ed Comer Excellence Award in Dual Diagnosis-an award presented at the annual Ohio NAAD meeting. The Comer's reside in Sharonville.
Scott Nekolny

Scott Nekolny, Secretary

Scott works for Fifth Third as Tax Research Project Manager. He is also a member of Fifth Third Finance Department ROCS – Reaching Out through Community Service. Scott’s passion for becoming a Board Member in 2009 came from his active role in advocating for the development for Autism Speaks of Cincinnati. His family resides in Landen, Ohio.
Russell Ferneding

Russell Ferneding, Treasurer

Mr. Ferneding is the Chief Financial Officer for the SKS Insurance Company in Cincinnati.· Mr. Ferneding joined RHC’s Board of Trustees in November 2001 and brings his wealth of financial knowledge to RHC.·Mr. Ferneding’s sister-in-law is supported in RHC’s Residential program.·He and his wife, who is also involved with RHC on a volunteer basis, live in Green Township.
Aubrey Herman

Aubrey Herman, past Board Chairman

Mr. Herman is a Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial and joined RHC’s Board of Trustees in June 2005. In his previous career, he served for 28 years in the Non-Profit Sector serving Senior Adults, people with developmental disabilities, immigrants and families. Mr. Herman is the former CEO of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and brings to the RHC board extensive non-profit experience. Mr. Herman and his family reside in Springfield Township.
Nancy Bolam-Jenkins

Nancy Bolam-Jenkins

Ms. Bolam-Jenkins is a semi-retired psychologist working in school districts around Cincinnati. She works with students who have developmental disabilities. Ms. Bolam-Jenkins has served on the RHC Board of Trustees since March 1998. She and her husband live in Forest Park.
Ralph Chambers

Ralph Chambers

Mr. Chambers is the Vice President of the C. Edward Lovins Insurance agency. He has served on the RHC Board of Trustees since March 1987 and was Chairman from 2002 through 2005. Mr. Chambers has led the efforts behind the agency’s annual golf classic since the early 1990’s. Mr. Chambers and his wife have five children and reside in Anderson Township.
Matt Poland

Matt Poland

Mr. Poland joined RHC’s Board of Trustees in April 2008 and brings nearly 20 years of experience working for Messer Construction Co. Mr. Poland brings his passion for building large commercial construction projects to RHC and hopes his enthusiasm and expertise will help RHC build homes for people with disabilities. Mr. Poland and his wife have three children and reside in Dearborn County, Indiana.
 

Judy Roth

Ms. Roth works for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission in their Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Ms. Roth joined RHC’s Board of Trustees in February 2008 and brings her expertise in assisting people with disabilities achieve their goals.
Dr. Robert South

Robert South

Dr. South is a professor of Geography at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. South brings his passion for empowering people with developmental disabilities to RHC’s Board of Trustees where he has served since October 1991; he was Chairman of RHC’s Board from 2006 through 2007. He and his wife live in Clifton and have three children, one of whom has a developmental disability and is supported in RHC’s Residential program.
George Vonderhaar

George Vonderhaar

Mr. Vonderhaar is senior vice president, Client Services for Convergys Corporation's Employee Care. He is responsible for the planning and implementation work on client programs. Mr. Vonderhaar joined RHC’s Board of Trustees in February 2007 and brings his extensive business background to support RHC’s programs and services. Mr. Vonderhaar resides in Loveland.
Michael D. Connelly

Michael D. Connelly

Mr. Connelly is the President/CEO of the Fortress, Inc., a records management firm. As Director of Economic Inclusion, Mr. Connelly established the Model Group's policy for inclusion, ensuring each project meets and exceeds the company's economic goals. He has worked with four Fortune 500 Companies and he has 20 years of sales and marketing experience. Mr. Connelly is Past Board Chair of the African American Chamber of Commerce and was appointed by the Mayor of Cincinnati to serve on the OPEN Cincinnati Action Team and the SBE Leadership Committee. Mr. Connelly's expansive community involvement include such projects as, Eagle Scout Association, Special Olympics, Free Store Foodbank, Habitat for Humanity, and he is also and active member in the Greater Emanuel Apolostolic Temple Church.
Aaron Tharpe

Aaron Tharpe

Mr. Tharpe is Assistant General Counsel at Catholic Heatlh Partners (CHP). He is responsible for representing the system in labor and employment matters, including unfair labor practice and employment discrimination charges, collective bargaining, and representational issues. He has been a speaker at several national conferences on labor, including recent engagements for the Catholic Health Association and the American Hospital Association. Recently, he has assumed responsibility of overseeing the system’s diversity and inclusion strategic plan. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Wisconsin and Ohio (Corporate Counsel), and he is a member of the American Bar Association, National Employment Law Counsel, Ohio Bar Association and Wisconsin Bar Association. Prior to joining CHP, he worked for the National Labor Relations Board as a Field Attorney and Blue Cross & Blue Shield, United of Wisconsin. He earned his JD from Marquette University Law School and BA from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a graduate of the Urban League’s African American Leadership Development Program (Class XVII) and is a candidate for CHP’s Leadership Academy (Class V).

Julie Gentile

Julie P. Gentile MD is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Wright State University and specializes in treatment of patients with co-occurring mental illness and intellectual disability. She is the Project Director of Ohio's Coordinating Center of Excellence in Dual Diagnosis and has published articles and book chapters in this area. Since 2003, she has evaluated over 2000 individuals with intellectual disability and is active in the training of psychiatry residents and medical students. She lives in Bellbrook, Ohio with her husband and they have two adult daughters.
Brenda_Curry

Brenda Curry

Brenda Curry has worked in the corporate training arena at the University of Cincinnati for over 26 years. She currently leads a UC team onsite at General Electric working with the GE Aviation Global Learning Team. Brenda and her husband live in Mason, Ohio and have four children. As a parent of a daughter with Down Syndrome, Brenda brings energy and passion to support the goals of RHC.

Raymond Webb

Mr. Webb, Senior Vice President, Head of Retail Banking with Fifth Third Bancorp is responsible for the overall performance, objectives, products, operations and strategies for Fifth Third Bancorp’s Retail division. Mr. Webb was named Head of Retail Banking in January 2009. He previously served as President and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (Western Ohio). He joined Fifth Third Bank through the acquisition of the Old Kent Bank in 2000. Mr. Webb was named senior vice president and city executive of Fifth Third Bank (Indiana) in 2000 and was appointed president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (Ohio Valley) in 2002. He was named president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (Western Ohio) in 2005. Mr. Webb received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration degree with Accounting concentration from the University of Notre Dame. He received his MBA with Management concentration from Western Michigan University. Engineer Officer Basic Course Honor Graduate and Engineer Officer Advanced Course Graduate from United States Army Engineer School. He acts in an advisory capacity to the Alter High School Administration in Kettering, Ohio;
